Cress Horton
Clinician
I provide a caring and grounded space for you to show up however you are, without judgment. I welcome you as the expert of your own life into collaboration with me as a witness and accountability partner to the challenges and goals you navigate.
Our process together can help bring care and understanding to what has been confusing or hard to share, which might include painful experiences, complex identities, habits & patterns that may be holding you back, and the ways we survive and resist the impact of harmful systems.
I draw from psychodynamic, relational, IFS and liberation health frameworks for therapy. I incorporate mindfulness, body-based practices, and creative play into sessions when appropriate. My work is informed by antiracism, disability justice, and transfeminism.
I strive to make sessions as accessible as possible. If you have any needs or questions about accommodations, please reach out. If you're looking for a therapist who shares an aspect of your lived experience, you're welcome to ask about my personal history and identities.
